Area students invited to register for FREE Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre day camp

Crest Area Theatre and Creston Arts are thrilled to bring a week-long series of workshops led by the renowned Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre, running from June 24 to June 28. This week of puppet camp will culminate in a Friday evening performance of “Remembering Buxton”, featuring workshop participants and the celebrated Iowa musician Dartanyan Brown, known for his work in blues, jazz, and rock-n-roll.

About the Workshops:

Participants will have the opportunity to dive into the world of puppetry, a captivating art form that combines visual art, theater, and movement. Think of the enchanting puppetry in “The Lion King”, the playful charm of the Muppets, the creativity of “The Sound of Music”, the innovative artistry in “War Horse”, the comedic flair of “Avenue Q”, and the whimsical Mona from Nanalan. These are just a few examples of the rich tradition of puppetry that the Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre brings to life.
