Continuous Learning

Continuous Learning will be provided so students can continue to stay engaged and practice at their own pace and with or without guidance.  At this time, students are not required to participate and no data is being collected or recorded. Staying engaged and maintaining relationships with our students and families is important to us, especially during these isolated times.

As we take these steps to provide opportunities to stay engaged, we understand that our families have different devices and access to technology and the internet.  We have developed a plan to distribute devices so each student or family has access to one. Please visit this site for the timeline:  Device Check-Out Timeline.  If your child needs a device, please complete the K-5 Student Device Registration Form so we can make arrangements to provide you with one. We plan to use Zoom as a tool for students and staff to stay connected. Please understand that there are no classroom activities planned at this time and communication is directly between the student/family and teacher.  It is important that our parents are aware of their child's engagement with district resources and staff.

Each building level in the district is developing Continuous Learning plans which will be posted on the district website and also provided by your child's classroom teacher.  Continuous Learning may look different for each grade level and are age appropriately designed.

We encourage our students and parents to please email their teacher and they will do their best to respond between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.  As we take steps to provide opportunities and stay engaged, we encourage our students, staff, families, and community to take care of themselves, take care of others!
