Now in his seventh year with Creston Community Schools, Superintendent Stender brings over 33 years of experience in public education, including 22 years as a superintendent. As he begins his seventh year leading the district, he remains committed to serving students, staff, families, and the broader community. Raised on a corporate dairy farm, Mr. Stender developed a strong work ethic and a deep belief in teamwork, responsibility, and accountability—values that continue to guide his leadership. He believes success stems from strong school-community partnerships and invites everyone to join in modeling the Panther Code: Respect Yourself, Respect Others, and Respect Our Schools.
