A School Safety Message

Dear Parents & Families:

The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our highest priority. Law enforcement has brought this matter to our attention, and we want to assure our parents and families that we take any threat involving our schools or school community very seriously. When a concern or threat is reported, we work closely with law enforcement and take the necessary steps to investigate the situation. We will also take appropriate administrative and disciplinary action when warranted, consistent with district policy and applicable laws.

I also encourage parents and families to talk with your children about the importance of taking safety concerns seriously. Please remind them that if they see, hear, or receive something that causes concern, they should tell a trusted adult and report it to a school staff member or law enforcement rather than share it, forward it, or dismiss it. Speaking up allows us to respond quickly and appropriately.
