State Track and Field Send off

The send-off for the State Track and Field event was held this morning at CCHS. Congratulations and good luck to those who qualified! 

We will be running or throwing all three days of the state meet. First up this afternoon is Cora Smith (200 prelims)and Tom Mikkelsen (discus)at 4:30 PM. The 4x800 teams both run this evening with the girls (Hope Henderson, Nevaeh Adamson, Reese Strunk and Maylee Riley) running at 5:25 and the boys (Wyatt Goodenberger, Jameson Hanson, Matthew Warner and Ryder Baird) running at 6:10 PM. Cora Smith will finish the evening at 7:10 PM in the 400.  Friday Jaycee Hanson gets things started at 2:00 PM in the shot put and Tom Mikkelsen follows in the boys shot put at 4:30 PM and the girls 4x100 prelims (Avery Staver, Cora Smith, Kadley Bailey and Braylee Pokorny) wrap up the day at 6:30 PM. Saturday morning at 9:00 AM the girls 4x100 (Staver, Pokorny, Bailey and Smith) will get things started followed by the 200 finals at 2:20 PM and the 4x100 finals at 3:45 PM. #CrestonCares
