Update On Storm Damage & Support

Posted Date: 4/27/24 (8:43 AM)

Dear Parents & Community:

I hope this finds everyone safe after last night's hazardous weather.  My thoughts and prayers go out to our community and anyone impacted by yesterday's storms. Today we come together to support each other and rebuild our communities.  Thankfully our schools were not structurally damaged and we are in the process of cleaning up downed trees blocking roadways and walkways and damage near the softball complex.  All of the walkways and driveways will be cleared and accessible.  We will not remove large downed trees in the yards until it is dry enough to do so. I appreciate the volunteer help of our students and community members to help clear debris.  If the district can be of any assistance (store food and frozen items) please let me know 218-234-7420.

We anticipate more severe weather this weekend but as of now, school will start as scheduled on Monday, and if this changes, you will be notified.   Thank you for your understanding and your continued support.

Sincerely,

Deron Stender
